• WELCOME

“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

    1 Timothy 1:5

  • Admission Is Not Submission

The fundamental difference between a saved person and an unsaved person is, minimally, an issue of submission, not knowledge. While an arrogant person seeks things for fleshly advantage, a humble person seeks the righteousness of God.

  • Profession Is Not Confession

It’s impossible to live a life of blessing if we live in a fantasy world.

  • Part 36: Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? By Grace They Were Prepared

The person who possesses true faith, and walks by it, is walking humbly before the Lord, attributing any abilities as being received from Him, not from self, lest they might boast wrongly. (2Co 10:12-18)

Part 4: What Is Repentance? And Who Gets To Define It?

GOD does all the work in salvation, quickening a humble person to true repentance and saving faith in Jesus Christ. Unbelievers represent those unwilling to BE saved - as Jesus clearly stated, their issue is their attachment to the self-life (ref: Mt 8:34).

One Kingdom, One Gospel

There’s only ever been one kingdom. There’s only ever been one King, one Lord over all, and His name is Jesus Christ. And there’s only ever been one way to gain citizenship into His kingdom.

>

Part 3: What Is Repentance? And Who Gets To Define It?

The Bible is chalk full of demands that are literally impossible for man to obey without the help of the One making them. While this seems paradoxical, it is nothing less than God’s grace. God is merely looking for willingness/humility in a man.

Part 2: What Is Repentance? And Who Gets To Define It?

Arrogance maintains an unrepentant “soil” that will not receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It will receive a different gospel from a different spirit regarding a different Jesus (2Co 11:4), and it will even bear fruit after that kind, but it will never be fruit of the true “Vine” (Jn 15:5).

Daily Perspective

  • It's not a pastor's job to solve your problems; rather, it's his job to lead you back to Christ, whose Spirit is able to powerfully solve all problems, beginning with salvation.

  • The Golden Rule:  “Treat others the same way you want them to treat you" (Luke 6:31).

  • “Treat others the same way you want them to treat you." (Luke 6:31)

  • Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? - Luke 6:46

  • Profession is not confession.

  • Familiarity breeds contempt. Guard yourself against the temptation to take things for granted. Learn to appreciate all aspects of God's grace!
