“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

    1 Timothy 1:5

  • Stress Fractures

Stress fractures are interesting injuries because nobody can actually see them, yet they are the cause of significant pain.

  • Part 3 - Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? - Jesus Chose Them

As a function of His praying, Jesus never made a mistake in choosing the apostles. Even Judas Iscariot was a choice He made at the behest of His Father in Heaven.

  • Part 15: What Is Good? And Who Gets To Define It?

God is calling us, His believers, His adopted children who have been rescued from the orphanage of sin and brought into His palace of forgiveness... to STAY in His love, THAT love, at all times. And that includes freely passing it on in mercy.

Part 2: It's Time To Man-Up

A man’s starting point in marriage/family is with Jesus Christ’s example to His Church. A husband/father must seek to be both a “lion and a lamb” as he leads his household, not just one or the other, like most men are (unrelenting authoritarians or wimps).

It's Time To Man-Up

A family that is divided over Christ has cracks in its foundation. It cannot bear the same load, as a corporation, especially if said cracks exist between the husband and wife (ref. Eph 5:15-24).

The First Crack In Any Structure

The first crack in any structure is always the hardest. However, once a crack exists, given the newly weakened state of the structure, all future cracks are increasingly easy to form.

"What Color Are You?"

The personality that is received by others isn’t always the one we think we are projecting...

God wills, plans, chooses, and enables all spiritual gifts. Man cannot do these things righteously. The beauty is that if God wills it, it will be done. Our attitude must mirror Jesus', which manifests "Your will be done" (Mt 6:10; 26:42).

Daily Perspective

  • It's not a pastor's job to solve your problems; rather, it's his job to lead you back to Christ, whose Spirit is able to powerfully solve all problems, beginning with salvation.

  • The Golden Rule:  “Treat others the same way you want them to treat you" (Luke 6:31).

  • “Treat others the same way you want them to treat you." (Luke 6:31)

  • Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? - Luke 6:46

  • Profession is not confession.

  • Familiarity breeds contempt. Guard yourself against the temptation to take things for granted. Learn to appreciate all aspects of God's grace!
