“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Mt 28:19-20).

“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me’” (Mt 25:37-40).

“Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you; and that we will be rescued from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith” (2Th 3:1-2).

“Slaves, in all things obey those who are your masters on earth, not with external service, as those who merely please men, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord” (Col 3:22).

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near” (Heb 10:23-25).

“In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’” (Ac 20:35)

“He *said to him the third time, ‘Simon, son of John, do you love Me?’ Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, ‘Do you love Me?’ And he said to Him, ‘Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.’ Jesus *said to him, ‘Tend My sheep’” (Jn 21:17).

“Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God” (1Pe 1:22-23).

Our first mission was to southeast India, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. After months of dialogue with a variety of local pastors in this area, the North Christian Church outreach committee decided to partner with Mercy & Grace Charity.

We focused our missionary efforts on four conferences:

Pastor’s Conference

  • Morning: “How To Lead a Congregation”
  • Afternoon & Next day in remote village: “The Pastor’s Example”
Children & Youth Conference
  • Morning: “Obedience At Home, School, and Church”
  • Afternoon: “Learning To Walk By the Spirit”
Women’s Conference
  • Morning: “God’s Divine Design For the Woman”
  • Afternoon: “The Virtuous Woman”

A fundamental part of our partnership with Mercy & Grace Charity is ongoing support.

Children’s School Supplies

  • Papers, pencils, etc.
  • Medicine & Hygiene products
Youth Transportation
  • Bicycles for older students to make it to school on time
Sewing Machines
  • Women learn how to sew on their own new machines
  • Mercy & Grace sewing school teaches them how to open/run a business to support their families

We have formed a partnership with Mercy and Grace Ministries, located in the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. This organization will be our primary contact in India. We will continue to partner with them through support and prayer. As we are partnered with them, we will be adopting a portion of their own missionary charter as our own, in the Lord’s good name, and in the unity of the faith.

“Humility is the key to the spiritual life. What are we if we fail to abide in the great commission, to “go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” (Mt 28:19)? I suppose we’d be missing the point, altogether. As scripture states, “there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord” (1Co 12:5), which means that we all have different “missions” put on our hearts. As I’ve learned, the Spirit may move each of us differently at different times in our lives. For example, I’ve been standing behind a pulpit in some way, shape, or form now for about 15 years, with the past 7-8 of those years as head pastor over a congregation. The experience has been magnificent, but I’m now being called to lead in other ways, as well, beginning with a trip to the other side of the planet. God willing, my son and I will reach many souls, spreading the good news of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This world is accelerating towards darkness, but there’s always hope because there’s always God, and “with God all things are possible” (Mt 19:26).”

“‘Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you’ (Mt 7:7). After taking in various forms of the Word, whether it be reading my own Bible, re-listening to messages, or reading suggested material from the pulpit, it has become clear to me what my true purpose in this world is. Jesus didn't come into this world to condemn it but to save it (Jn 3:17, Mk 2:17) ,and so He focused His whole ministry on spreading His good news, doing the will of his Father. Being a believer and living in that truth has motivated me to want to do the same. I realize that God does not need me to do His work, but I am grateful to Him for giving me the opportunity to take part in His great commission (Mt 28:18-20). I am excited to see what He will do in the souls of others, as well as my own.”

Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure — pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.
Luke 6:38
