Wisdom on Weaknesses (2Co 12:9-11)
Things such as: unforgiveness, judging, jealousy, envy, strife, coveting, doubting, etc…these are all real weaknesses. While the world tries to focus our attention on human weaknesses, such as strength, intellect, social skills, etc., what we need to understand is that the weaknesses the Bible speaks to are on a different plane.

Col 3:2 –[Amplified]
Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].

Mt 16:23
But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.”

Be On The Alert!
Be on guard for earthly thinking about man's interests; it's been with us since youth, and through the flesh it's always hanging out, waiting to strike down our godly perspective.

Pr 14:12
There is a way which seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.

1 Pe 5:8
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Jn 8:44
[the devil] does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

A Spiritual Reality Check
We can't expect to hang out with people that love the world and not have it affect us... it WILL rub off on us!!

MacArthur on 2Co 7:1
False religion panders to the human appetites, represented by both “flesh and spirit.” While some believers for a time might avoid succumbing to fleshly sins associate with false religion, the Christian who exposes his mind to false teaching cannot avoid contamination by the devilish ideologies and blasphemies that assault the purity of divine truth and blaspheme God’s name.

Lk 23:34
But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”

Be careful who it is that you call “friend”.

"Friends" Can Be Enemies
It’s a hard pill to swallow when you realize that loved ones are working for the enemy…against God, that is. But it's a reality in this, the devil's world, so be ready to "stand firm". 1Co 16:13, 2Co 4:4

Wake Up!
There's a big difference between being patient with someone who is living in evil, and celebrating with someone who is living in evil.

Jer 15:19c
They for their part may turn to you,
But as for you, you must not turn to them.

How Seduction Works
Seduction doesn’t happen in an instant; it happens slowly - it takes time to supplant norms and standards. If seduction’s true nature were seen right away, you’d be offended by its ugliness. Seduction is as patient as it is evil.
