OUTLINE:

Taking Things For Granted
Only the Word can rescue us from a gloomy perspective. How many times do we thank God for all the good little things? (Jas 1:17)

Deliverance
We get familiar with the holiness of the Word. Freedom is on the other side of familiarity. (ref. Heb 4:12)

1Pe 1:3 [Amplified]
Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant and boundless mercy has caused us to be born again [that is, to be reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] to an ever-living hope and confident assurance through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Humility
God opens the eyes of the Humble. That is not a promise that He gives the arrogant.

Vindicated By Deeds
As the believer grows up spiritually, through God's Word and Spirit, he will be vindicated in his life by good deeds/good fruit. (Mt 11:18-19, Lk 7:33-35, Jn 4:24)

Vindicated By Deeds
The production (divine good works) in the lives of John the Baptist and our Lord Jesus PROVED the accusations of the religious Pharisees to be false, and so the lives we live can prove the same, in the view of those trapped in religion. (1Pe 1:7)

Power In the Book of James
What we see is NOT the power of man through his own faith; what WE see is the power of God through the faith He has given us! The prior is legalism/religion, the latter is grace.

The Word is the source of deliverance in our lives.

Jas 1:21
Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.

Jn 5:36
"But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish — the very works that I do — testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.”
