WHETHER AT HOME OR ABROAD
We may not wear uniforms, but we believers have been enlisted into Christ’s army, as soldiers (2Ti 2:3). We may not even “look” the part, as some might see things, which is fine. We are focused on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ…and since He focused on others, and even commanded that we do the same, we figure our lots are with Him when we abide in His great commission (Mt 28:18-20), however that transpires in our individual lives.
“This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you” (Jn 15:12-14).
We know that God has willed each of us to live our own lives (1Co 7:20), as believers, sinners saved by grace. Not so long ago, many of us were lost and someone gave us the Gospel…and everything changed, from the inside-out. No one is ever the same once saved - it isn’t meant to be! What a wondrously beautiful gift.
“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” (2Co 9:15).
