If God our Father never took the opportunities presented to Him to discipline you, where would you be right now? What kind of parent would He be? Would you know His love as you do today and therefore honor Him the way you do?
The hidden blessing in our failures is that it drives us right back to Him, seeking grace and mercy in time of need!
God's mercy is greater than our wickedness and our flesh, which rebels against Him and is often unfaithful towards Him.
Sanctification is learning and growing towards leaning upon God's grace with 100% complete reliance. (not 99%)
