OUTLINE:
Php 4:13 NKJV
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Being Righteous/Having Integrity
Regarding the righteous person, whom we all desire to be, what's the key to getting there; to BEING that person?? - FAITH , in the Lord and His ways.
Ro 1:17c
"The righteous shall live by faith."
The Lord, My Strength!
We get His strength by faith in His love. Ps 18:1,Gal 2:20,Php 4:13
Ps 18:1
I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord, My Strength!
We get His strength by faith in His love. Ps 18:1,Gal 2:20,Php 4:13
Being Righteous/Having Integrity
The quality of our speech is directly connected to the motivation of love.
Being Righteous/Having Integrity
A godly person will do what he says, and say what he does, by faith. The two will line up. That's called living in integrity to the Word of God. (not perfectly, but on a habitual basis; that's his lifestyle) Jas 5:12, Mt 5:33-37
Being Righteous/Having Integrity
By faith, we have the Lord's strength, to "swear to our own hurt", Ps 15:4, and to "take pains to have a clear conscience", Act 24:14-16.
Lk 12:48
But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
Being Righteous/Having Integrity
Paul, in his appropriate fear of the Lord, took pains to maintain a clear conscience. Act 24:14-16, 1Co 9:24-27
Ps 111:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever!
Being Righteous/Having Integrity
Paul, in his appropriate fear of the Lord, took pains to maintain a clear conscience. Act 24:14-16, 1Co 9:24-27
Integrity to the Word
By faith, the righteous person doesn't move away from Truth, and although it might hurt in the short term, they know God will bless them out in the long term.
The Fruit of Righteousness
Those who walk wisely walk upright, exuding dignity. Consider the serpent in the Garden of Eden. God’s curse removed all its dignity, “on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life” (Gen 3:14).
Fools Are Undignified
Unwise people (aka “fools” who disrespect the Lord) are inherently undignified… and if they propose to be otherwise, it’s nothing more than a ruse…an avatar.
