• WELCOME

“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

    1 Timothy 1:5

  • How To Engage A Sinner

A good friend seeks to restore a “dislocated joint” in the Body of Christ, regardless of how painful the process of doing so might be.

  • Part 30: Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? By Grace They Were Prepared

The human emotion “that all be saved” is often different than God’s in the sense that it is absent of divine viewpoint on justice. God’s grace is not accommodating to man’s sensibilities; rather, it is accommodating to God’s sovereignty.

  • Part 44: Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? By Grace They Were Prepared

True commitment puts the Lord as top priority (ala Ro 12:1 & first fruits). If you’re convinced that something is from the Lord, then commit to it wholeheartedly. If you’re not convinced of the prior, then you shouldn’t be doing whatever it is in the first place.

Part 2: What Is Good? And Who Gets To Define It?

It is very sobering to analyze our own definitions for “good”. We might quickly realize that what we think and even act upon as “good” really isn’t. A good litmus test is to observe what we esteem/celebrate in ourselves/others.

KIDS' CORNER: Depravity

Most people do not want to believe this about themselves or their loved ones- the Truth isn’t “pleasant” to hear when you do not understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so they choose religion, which claims that “deep down” all people are good.
