Our introduction to God’s grace is through mercy, not a cookie jar solution to our worldly woes.
What happens to your peace and your faith when you have expectations from a perverted version of grace???
Answer?? - you lose some faith in God, even in His love for you! :(
With a pure, biblical view of God's grace, we can simply rejoice in our hearts that Jesus is our Great High Priest, forever!! - Heb 4:14, 5:5
No matter what our spiritual gifts might be, we must remember that we represent Christ, at all times, and He isn't happy when we cause others to stumble in their faith!! Mt 18:7, Rm 14:21
God demands a certain level of holiness from those whom He chooses to represent His people.
Regarding spiritual gifts, we must LISTEN FOR HIS CALLING AND OBEY IT. It's not about us, but about HIS GRACE towards us.
May we trust God completely, regardless of what we might feel, because He is the Sovereign Lord of the universe who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light!
