KEY PRINCIPLES FROM THIS MESSAGE:

Until we go Home, we are on guard and on duty for the Lord and His purposes.

Human strength is a form of weakness, because when relying on our own strength, we drop the Lord's hand in the process.

In our hearts, we must rely upon the Lord alone, knowing we can ALWAYS count upon His perfect faithfulness.

We mustn’t EVER be wholly dependent on any one aspect of our lives as if it were something we couldn’t do without.
(ala 1Co 6:12, right? - that's called slavery, right?!)

From "The Deceitfulness of Sin, Part 1"
The human flesh lies to us.

We must regularly scrutinize our strengths to ensure they are not actually weaknesses in disguise.

Knowledge must become wisdom, through humility. But knowledge without humility becomes arrogance.

From "The Deceitfulness of Sin, Part 1"
Children aren't esteemed due to lack of knowledge, and yet their faith was praised by Jesus!

From "The Deceitfulness of Sin, Part 1"
Our sinful nature (our flesh) uses knowledge the wrong way, getting puffed up because of it, even leading us to doubt God, claiming we need proof where faith is supposed to exist.

Knowledge is valuable because it draws us closer to the faith, hope, and love found in Christ. It's a God-given provision meant to lead us to greater intimacy with the Lord.

As a man, as one of us, Jesus entered behind the veil for us, once for all. Because of His perfect sacrifice, God's holiness is now satisfied, so we who believe in Him can freely enter into God's presence!

Jesus, our Great High Priest, brought His own blood into the heavenly Holy of Holies to once for all satisfy the Justice of God the Father on our behalf!
