Know Your Worth – blog 3/28/25
If you were worth creating, then you’re worth something to the Lord.
...
The Lord created you and considered you to be of great value. He then gave you this life to live. How you live it is up to you. How you spend your time is up to you. How you treat others is up to you. You getting the point? In other words, God has given you immeasurable grace (that’s the theme of the parable in Luke 19:11-27). What you do with it matters, a lot!
If you know your worth, then you will know your purpose and have impact in this life. If you don’t, you’ll relegate yourself and your life as worthless, spending your days in despair. Could there be a greater tragedy???
Know your worth. Embrace it. Own it. That’s what God wants and that’s why He has me write blogs like this one. Don’t listen to the whispers and lies from the kingdom of darkness – they are meant to debilitate you and render you impotent, without impact. Instead, invest in your life right now, while you still have the opportunity. Be strong and courageous. Act worthy because God says you are.

Your heart can't be looking at your own works; it has to look to CHRIST ALONE.
“Conscience”: it is the point at which a person confronts God’s holiness.
The OT sacrifices, by themselves, were NOT appeasing to the Lord!
Any “goodness” in God’s eyes comes from the obedience that comes from faith alone!
The issue with OT rituals/sacrifices was FAITH that manifest in obedience!
Obedience is the manifestation that contributes to our OWN ASSURANCE of our salvation. It’s not WHAT we do so much as it is WHY we do it.
The Bible is filled with two aspects: how a person is saved & how salvation is assured.
No sacrifice, besides Christ’s, has ever satisfied God’s wrath against sin. Jewish rituals and sacrifices were commanded by God as a show of faith (through obedience) and a recurring reminder of their sin before the Holy God of the Universe; hence, their persistent consciousness of sin.
