OUTLINE:

Isa 32:6
For the fool speaks folly, and his heart is busy with iniquity, to practice ungodliness, to utter error concerning the LORD, to leave the craving of the hungry unsatisfied, and to deprive the thirsty of drink.

Jas 5:12
But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.

Jn 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Being a “fool”
This has nothing to do with IQ. A “fool”, according to Holy Scripture, is the person who lacks respect for the Lord, their Creator.

“Practicing” Arrogance
When an arrogant person is ignorant, they simply modify the world around them to suit themselves…and then they call it “truth”.

What is “Appropriate” According to God’s Word?
The Bible calls out “fools” as lacking the ability to do what is appropriate in God’s eyes. The primary reason is a disrespect for God – fools do not fear the Lord; therefore, their moral compass is evil and misleading.

The Fruit of Righteousness
Those who walk wisely walk upright, exuding dignity. Consider the serpent in the Garden of Eden. God’s curse removed all its dignity, “on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life” (Gen 3:14).
