OUTLINE:

Heb 12:14-15 [Amplified]
Continually pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification without which no one will [ever] see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of God’s grace; that no root of resentment springs up and causes trouble, and by it many be defiled.

Ro 12:9, 17-18
Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good...Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Grace Giving

When a person “sees” the Lord in you, they “see” the LOVE that motivates you, and they will treasure your gifts.

2Th 1:3
We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly [they were maturing], and [here’s the PROOF!] the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

The Relationship Between God’s Commands and Grace
God’s grace is an expression of His will (e.g., love can’t help but express itself), which is always perfectly harmonious with His commands! In other words, God will never command you to do something before He enables you to do it.

1Ti 2:4
who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Jn 15:10-11 [Amplified]
If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing.

Jn 16:24 [Amplified]
Until now you have not asked [the Father] for anything in My name; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy may be full and complete.

Jas 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Being “In Love”

There’s no better place to be, for you or for others, than abiding in the sphere of God’s love! (e.g. Jn 15: 11-14)
