    1 Timothy 1:5

  • Part 23: Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? By Grace They Were Prepared

Sanctification is like the annealing of metal. As believers, we must be “worked” to the glory of God. He bends us incrementally, adds heat under pressure, then gives us time to “cool down”. In the end, each iteration makes us stronger, more resolute in our faith.

  • Part 3: Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? - By Grace They Were Prepared

Jesus taught His disciples to have their OWN convictions! He then gave them His Spirit to teach, encourage, and empower this. We all have the Word of- and the Spirit of Christ, by grace.
